Let's face it, cats are not dogs, and they do not like to eat out of dog bowls. That's because it is uncomfortable when their whiskers have to touch the sides of a narrow or deep bowl designed for animals with a snout.

Did you know that the classic mini metal bowl can be the cause of skin irritation in your cat? Our little Ren and Jelly both have skin issues that have been deemed likely to be caused by eating from a metal bowl. Ceramic is the best material for all cats, for long term well being. Our bowls are made of beautiful hand-dipped ceramic.

Personalisation: Laser Engrave Your Cat's Name!

Our Meow Chow Bowls come standard with beautifully glazed coloured ceramic, but we can also laser etch your Cat's name! This personalisation only costs an additional $10 per bowl, and will be finished within 1 business day. Please keep in mind that long names will result in small text - we recommend a shortened name or singular name for the best effect.

All you need to do is choose the personalise option, then simply reply to your order confirmation email with the name in "Quote" marks.

The Colours:

Meow chow bowls come in three beautiful hand dipped colours. When engraved, Forbidden Green will leave a light grey/green mostly homogenous etch. Flamingo Pink will have a creamy mostly homogenous etch. Aegean Blue is very dark and requires lots of layers of paint, so it is more likely to have a gradient to the etch. Sometimes the etch is light blue, sometimes shiny navy, sometimes a mix - every etch in the blue will come out different (See the difference between "Mowgli" and "Billy" in the photos) - green and pink etchings will be more homogenous.

Blue-Green is a limited run mixed colour bowl (thanks to an error with the Glazier). It has identical engraving qualities to the Aegean Blue described above, as the top is Navy and the base is Mint.

The Dimensions:

We designed Meow Chow specifically for cats, so they are nice and shallow for short faces at only 3cm to the bottom, and wide enough for long whiskers at 13.5 cm across.
